Vailatino is a space created with love for everyone who has always wanted to learn to dance but never had the tools to do it.
Founder and teacher
Meet Vanessa
“My name is Vanessa. I trained in Colombia for over seven years in professional salsa, and I’ve competed in groups, as a couple and solo in salsa and bachata.
I have two years of experience as a Latin dance instructor in Australia (in schools, at events, in dance studios and with Vailatino) and experience in education with children, young people and adults.
Vailatino is a space born from my soul, where I bring together my passion for dance and for teaching. Dancing makes me happy, and so does being able to share it with others.”
How I teach

In practice, that means paying attention to your body as well as the steps:- Every class starts with activation and joint mobility to prepare your body.
- You learn to listen to your body and build the connection between how you move and how the music feels.
- Every class ends with stretching and breathing, to release tension and finish with balance.
